Cotton Hall welcomes the newness with open arms! With a new year full of weddings and events bring new wedding trends. We can't wait to see how our couples celebrate their uniqueness and how they put their personalities into each event.
Here's some of our favorite upcoming trends for 2023:
No Bridal Party:
More couples are opting to forego bridal parties and are hosting more intimate ceremonies with the focus on the couple. *Pro Planning Tip - The smaller your bridal party is, the more of your floral budget you'll have to spend somewhere else! The larger the bridal party, the more of your budget you're putting into attendant flowers (i.e. bridesmaid bouquets and groomsmen boutonnieres).
Fun Attire Details:
Expect to see couples spice it up a little when it comes to their wedding attire this year! We expect to see floral wedding gowns or non-traditional colored wedding gowns, fun fashion details from our couples. Groom suits in non-traditional colors such as burgundy or even printed jackets.

COLOR!
We are so excited about 2023's color of the year - Viva Magenta! We are looking forward to seeing bold colors against the gorgeous natural backdrop of Cotton Hall. Magenta is the perfect pop of color against the gorgeous moss-covered oak trees you'll find along the property. There are so many fun ways to incorporate this color throughout your wedding, even if it's a part of your cocktails like the one pictured below from Shaken and Stirred Mixology.
Keep It Local
This year you'll see more couples continue to utilize local farms for both their food and floral! Sustainability is here to stay. Most of our couples here at Cotton Hall support local wedding vendors. Patrick and Hannah opted to select Wimbee Creek Farm, a local floral farm just located 11.6 miles away from Cotton Hall, for their wedding day florals.

Cotton Hall still has available wedding dates in 2023 and we've started booking 2024 dates! All wedding packages include access to our three dressing rooms, uses of the grounds and the common areas inside the 10,000 sq ft home, our on-site Rolls Royce getaway car, tables, chairs, and so much more!
