We know selecting the perfect wedding venue can be difficult. More on selecting the perfect venue for you here. When touring potential venues, be sure to be prepared with questions for your venue. Here's a few of our most frequently asked questions when touring potential couples:
Q: What does your basic package include?
A: Our basic package includes rental of the grounds, access to our bridal and groom dressing rooms, and tables and chairs for up to 100 guests.
Q: Do we have to rent a restroom?
A: Yes, for events with more than 75 guests we do require a restroom rental.
Q: Can I bring my dog? Horse?
A: Yes, of course you can bring your dog! And you can even bring a horse. (Seriously, we've had this question!) Well behaved pets are welcome outside. We do require that you have someone assigned as a "handler" for both and that you *ahem* pick up after your pet. Bringing horses onto the property is a little bit more detailed due to bringing in a trailer and the size of the clean-up...but we do have fenced in pastures on the property and we could make it work.
Q: How many people can Cotton Hall accommodate for a wedding?
A: We are predominately an outdoor wedding venue with TONS of room for your guests. We can do outdoor weddings for any amount of people up to 500 guests or more. Inside, we can accommodate up to 50 guests.
Q: Can our guests stay in the house?
A: Yes! We offer a package to include overnight accommodations OR your guests can rent the rooms on their own if you choose to not purchase the package which includes the accommodations.
Q: Do you offer in-house catering?
A: No, we do not. We do require all caterers that work events at Cotton Hall be licensed and insured.
Q: Can we bring sparklers for our exit? What about fireworks?
A: Yes, we welcome sparkler exits outside. Fireworks are ok as long as they're done by a professional.
